How Do I Use the Pax?
Using the Pax-2 involves a few simple steps:
Pack the oven with finely ground dry herb.
Choose from the flat or raised mouthpiece.
Turn on the device by pressing the power button underneath the mouthpiece.
Select one of the four temperature settings by entering temperature set mode with a long press on the power button.
Draw vapor gently from the device.
Turn off the device by pressing the power button or let it shut off automatically after 3 minutes of non-use.
How Do I Charge the Pax and Check Battery Levels?
Charge the Pax by placing it on the magnetic charging cradle connected to a USB power source. The battery lasts for 6-8 sessions per charge and takes around 2+ hours to fully recharge. To check the battery level, shake the device, and the LED light will indicate the battery status in 25-percent increments.
How Do I Clean the Pax?
Let the device cool down, then remove the oven lid and mouthpiece.
Use a pipe cleaner with isopropyl alcohol to clean the vapor path and oven screen.
Use cotton swabs with isopropyl alcohol for cleaning the oven and the top of the device.
Ensure the mouthpiece and oven screen are dry before reassembling. It’s recommended to clean the Pax every few sessions for optimal performance
How Does the Pax-2 Compare to Other Models?
The Pax holds 0.15 to 0.35 grams of dry herb. It heats up in 45 seconds and does not support cannabis concentrates, unlike the Pax 3. It lacks haptic feedback and requires 2+ hours for charging. It’s important to note that both Pax-2 and Pax 3 models are discontinued, but you can still find their accessories.
